Today, Tozen Union attended the third hearing of our suit against Interac for unfair labor practices. In February, Tozen sued Interac for negotiating in bad faith after refusing to show its financial information to the union. We have since filed additional suits to redress interference in union activity and to overturn the termination of our member Dion.
While we’re still in the early stages of the process, today’s hearing went well. The Commission advised Interac’s management, for the third time, to negotiate with the union on a settlement to the labor commission case.
We call on Interac management to do just that: negotiate with us in good faith so we can resolve the issues in this Labor Commission case, and get to work on improving working conditions at Interac. The Union has offered its settlement terms. We are still waiting to hear Interac’s. Interac, the ball is in your court.

I’m not ready to join the union, but I wish you all the best of luck!
Hi Eric,
Thanks for the comment.
It took me about 6 months to join Tozen after I first heard about it. I understand not being ready. It took a few surprises that “pushed me over the edge” before I realized I should stop trying to negotiate my working conditions on my own.
My only regret is that I didn’t make that realization sooner.
Also, I had no real understanding of why I should even consider joining. I would love to continue the conversation, when you are ready.
